Re-work Operations Underway on the Gurim#4 Well in Israel

WILLOW PARK, TEXAS, U.S.A./NETANYA, ISRAEL, May 11, 2006/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ness Energy International, Inc. announced today that re-work operations have begun on the Gurim#4 well, just east of Arad at the southwest end of the Dead Sea.

The company-owned workover rig was moved onto the location and began rigging up on May 7^th, and was ready to work on May 9^th. The well was opened and work began early on the morning of May 10, 2006.

Ness Energy President Sha Stephens is on location at the Gurim #4 well in Israel to oversee the rework operations. Stephens remarked “It is an awesome sight to see the rig standing alone out in the middle of the desert here near the Dead Sea. Workover operations have begun and have been running smoothly. Our plan is to isolate possible water production from oil production and bring this well, which at the time of being shut-in in 1982, was making 100 bbl water per day and 100 bbl oil per day, back online. Barring any major complications, we hope to have this well reconfigured, tested and in a producing attitude in a couple of weeks and then, with God’s help, have it producing oil within 30 days of that time.” Ness plans to test the well on production for a short amount of time before determining its next step in the area, which may include the rework of 3 additional wells that Ness currently owns and possibly evolve into a drilling program in the area.
