Ness Energy Announces Two (2) Re-entry Projects Complete and
Production Online
WILLOW PARK, TEXAS, U.S.A./NETANYA, ISRAEL: January 6, 2005 /PR
Newswire FirstCall/ -- Ness Energy International, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: NESS) announced today that its two current
re-entry projects in Dewitt County, Texas are now online and
selling gas. Work has also begun on re-completing an existing well
in Palo Pinto County, Texas.
Dewitt County Re-entries
Ness Energy confirmed today that it is now selling gas from its
two re-entry projects in South Texas. These re-entries have been
in the re-entry stage for the past few months. President and CEO
Sha Stephens says "after delays ranging from record-breaking
rainfall in the area to a series of mechanical failures we are
happy to announce that the Atoka Gohlke #1 and the Enron Gohlke
Deep Gas Unit #1 are online and we are selling gas. The wells have
only been flowing for a few days. This makes it difficult to
speculate on where the actual flow rates are going to level off.
However, things are looking good."
These two wells represent the first completed re-entry projects
for Ness in Dewitt County. We are already planning our next
project from our growing portfolio of re-entry candidates in the
area.
Palo Pinto County Re-completion
Work has also begun on the re-completion of the D.L. Hart # 3
well in Palo Pinto County, Texas. This project is an existing well
that has produced for many years from the shallower Strawn
formation, a historically prolific producer in the area. The D.L.
Hart #3 well was originally drilled through the Barnett Shale and
pipe was set over the zone but never completed due to the fact
that at the time the Shale was considered non productive. New
fracture and stimulation technologies have been, and are currently
being, redefined and developed. These advances make this well an
excellent candidate for a re-completion attempt. Our plan is to
establish production from the Barnett Shale. The D.L. Hart #3 is
the first well in a series of four planned re-completions in the
area. These four wells will be re-completed in succession.
More information will be made available as each well is placed
online.
